Let’s start making over my beauty room, it’s time!!!
So I’m on the hunt for a fragrance I can wear while I’m celebrating my 13th year anniversary with the hubby and I’m so excited. I see so many of you all sharing your wedding day scents and I think that is so beautiful, and since I didn’t do that for my wedding I figured I can start the tradition now. For now I’m thinking I want something that is soft, super feminine, & really romantic. Today I’m trying Game of Joy by @houseofdastan and it might just be a top contender! It’s a bright, juicy and crisp watermelon that feels very clean on my skin. While it’s got some spice and passion fruit in it, that crisp, slightly sweet watermelon is def the star and is so pretty on my skin. It screams romance on a hot day, and I live in Texas so that’s fitting. I’ve got a few more ideas that I’m considering, but I’m also open to any recommendations you might have down in the comments if you’re willing to share. I’m a sucker for love and this just screams hopeless romance to me, this is going to be so much fun!! Ok friend, I’ll get back with more of what I’m thinking later!!!!! I couldn’t decide between 823 and Room 33…so natur I couldn’t decide between 823 and Room 33…so naturally, I wore both. 😂 And baby, this layering combination smells like a rich, feminine woman who always has somewhere fabulous to be. I started with Fruity Musk body cream and mist for that dewy raspberry, sugared musk, and velvet moss base. Then I added my Rich Girl Oil for moisture and glow, followed by Sand + Fog Bloom to bring in another soft, feminine floral layer. For the perfumes: ✨ 823 adds juicy raspberry, mandarin, bouvardia, jasmine sambac, tuberose, plum, mahogany, and warm ambroxan. ✨ Room 33 brings pear and pink pepper into a creamy blend of jasmine, tuberose, blond woods, sandalwood, amber, and vanilla. Together, it’s juicy and softly sweet at the top, beautifully floral through the heart, then warm, creamy, musky, and woody as it settles. The shared jasmine and tuberose make the fragrances melt together, while the raspberry, pear, plum, vanilla, and woods give the combination dimension. If you like to smell expensive without breaking th If you like to smell expensive without breaking the bank and you love a super feminine fruity floral perfume you might enjoy @afnanperfumes La Fleur Bouquet. This is a great find that you can get right off of Amazon and it’s their interpretation of an almost $400 perfume that I love called Fleur Narcotique. It’s got notes of Jasmine, Bergamont, Peony, Litche, Peach that mix together and make this ultra feminine, sweet and soft floral. It’s perfect for office wear, running errands, doing soft girl stuff during the day, and is just an over all easy reach. As you can see I love my bottle and with the performance you wouldn’t believe that you can get it for less than $35. I’ve got it linked up above in my bio or down below in the comments. Green apple, pear, and wild berries bring the sweetness, while apple blossom, tiare flower, water lily, and orchid keep it soft and delicate. Coconut, vanilla, and sandalwood add a smooth warmth underneath without making it feel heavy or overly gourmand. Maison Yusif calls this fragrance a chameleon because it shifts between the fruit and florals as you wear it—and that complexity keeps it from ever feeling basic or predictable.
